Er. Min Jung and Ernie should link to this site when I'm vacation more often. Everybody gets with der klicken.

Last night Ernie and I headed into the city and saw the Metreon (it's a club! it's a mall! it's $2 a pop for DDR Extreme! though we sent an e-postcard to Dirk and Stef back home, which was kitschy) and the park behind it (stone circle and waterfall, let us contrast), called up Casey David and then Casey for dinner. The latter was the one that could make it, and we picked him up from work and went to... somewhere, I can't say, Ernie made us sign a nondisclosure agreement. It was delicious, though.

The walking tour commenced past the smutty district, the Financial District, some of Chinatown, and then we drove past Pier 29/39/I don't even remember. Did some walking on part of the Barbary Coast tour and out onto a pier that gave us a wholly touristy view of the city and the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. And a three-mast, could-have-been-a pirate ship. I nearly swooned. (I'm sure you can ask C&E about that.)

Dessert at the ice cream shop in Ghiradelli Square, and I took out the city map I got at a gast station to mark off spots for today's walking tour. Talked to Min Jung on the way back to Casey's flat, and her dad is... doing somewhat better. Not 100% yet. Had a fun talk about hitting up a poetry open-mic and D&D dorkery and pirate jokes. Arrrrgh!

Casey gave me his SFMOMA card back at his flat, so hopefully I can get in free today. But if I don't get going.
